Driver with ‘Panjab’ Written on Windshield Arrested for Pointing Fake Gun at Motorists on QEW
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have issued an appeal for witnesses after a disturbing incident on the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) in the Niagara-bound lanes. On January 5, at approximately 4 p.m., officers responded to reports of a driver pointing a handgun at other motorists.
The vehicle, which had the word “Panjab” prominently written on its windshield, was intercepted near the QEW and Glendale Avenue exit. Following a swift response by law enforcement, the driver was taken into custody without further escalation. Upon inspection, the firearm in question was identified as an imitation handgun.
