Fans expect a new episode as CID actors Shivaji Satam, Daya, and Anup Soni reconvene on set.

Recently, Daya from the iconic TV serial CID met Anup Soni and Shivaji Satam, who portrayed ACPs on the show. The internet adored their reunion.

Actor Shivaji Satam recently reconnected with Dayanand Shetty from the crime drama CID and posted a photo to Instagram of the two of them. Satam played the iconic role of ACP Pradyuman on the show. The CID actors were joined by Anup Soni, and Shivaji revealed in a social media post that they had first met on a set. He did not, however, say whether or not they are collaborating on a new project.

The caption Shivaji added to the photo said, “FUN to be together on the set after a long time with Daya and Anup Soni (a few heart and dancing emojis).” On the two-year-long CID Special Bureau, Anup portrayed ACP Ajatshatru. The post’s comment section was inundated with requests for a new episode from fans of the show that dominated the early 2000s. One of them said, “Start CID again, If Sony have issues, then on any other channel.” Another person said, “CID shuru karo new episode please sir (Start a new CID episode sir, please).”

Actor Aditya Srivastava was also missed by many fans in the reunion photo. In the programme, Aditya portrayed Inspector Abhijit. “Wow!!,” one of the viewers wrote. Can’t believe what I’m seeing: “Kuch to gadbad jarur hai” (referring to the famous CID conversation, “Something’s wrong.”) I miss Abhiii Sir being here, but it’s great to have you all together. “Wow… but missing Adi sir here,” said another.
