Four Charged in Series of Armed Robberies in Mississauga and Brampton
Peel Regional Police have arrested and charged four individuals, including two teenagers, in connection with a series of armed robberies that occurred in Mississauga and Brampton. The authorities have indicated that additional charges may be forthcoming.
The first incident took place on March 24 near Main St. and Steeles Ave. in Brampton, where armed men entered a pharmacy brandishing a handgun. Threatening the store occupants, the robbers successfully absconded with both money and narcotics, making their escape in a waiting getaway car nearby.
Following this initial robbery, two more armed hold-ups were reported at separate electronic stores in Mississauga on July 21 and again on Wednesday.
