Gangster Amarpreet Samra Shot Dead by Rival Gang at Wedding in Vancouver

Gangster Amarpreet Samra alias Chucky has been reportedly shot dead in South Vancouver. He was shot at a wedding by unidentified assailants who are now being sought out by the police. The police is also concerned about the retaliation and has asked anyone with information to step forward.

The incident took place on Sunday at around 1:30 a.m. at Fraserview Hall near Fraser Street and Southeast Marine Drive in South Vancouver. Multiple 9-1-1 calls were made reporting one man being shot at the venue. It was then revealed that known Gangster Amarpreet Samra alias Chucky was shot dead by unidentified assailants.

According to a few guests, Chucky was dancing at the wedding when some unidentified men walked back into the hall and told the DJ to stop the music. There were around 60 guests present at the time. As Chucky left the wedding, he was shot dead at the spot. Patrol officers who arrived at the scene performed CPR until paramedics arrived, but he died from his injuries.

It is suspected that the assailants were from the rival Brothers Keepers group. Additionally, a burning vehicle that is said to be related to the suspects was found at Surrey/Delta border. It is believed that this was a targeted shooting amid the gang conflict. An investigation is underway and the police has asked anyone with information to call the Vancouver Police Homicide Unit at 604-717-2500.

Samra and his older brother, Ravinder, were guests at the wedding. They were associated with the UN gang. The BK, Wolfpack alliance and Red Scorpion gang have all been at war with the UN gang.
