After the winter storm that started Wednesday and continued overnight, school buses in the Greater Toronto Area have been called off for Thursday.
The Toronto public and Catholic boards, The Peel public and Catholic boards, The York public and Catholic boards, The Halton public and Catholic boards, and The Durham public and Catholic board have all called off bus services for Thursday. The schools under the boards, however, remain open.
Due to the winter storm that hit parts of Ontario, areas west of Toronto saw up to 25 centimetres of snowfall, while eastern areas towards Prince Edward County and Kingston could also find snowfall of a similar amount, according to Environment Canada.
