GTA: Shooting in Milton home leaves 1 dead, 2 detained

A shooting inside a Milton home on Sunday resulted in the death of a male, and two suspects have been arrested in pertinence to the incident, according to the police.

Following intimation about gunshots, the police were called to the home located at Gibson Crescent at around 5:00 am.

Two males allegedly entered the residence before the shooting. Following the shooting, the police arrested a resident of the home and a second person, according to Halton Police

“Two male suspects attended the home and a number of shots were fired inside the house. Police attended and located one of the suspects deceased. A second suspect and a resident have been taken into custody by police,” the police detailed in a media release on Sunday.

The Police cautioned those staying in the area of increased police activity as homicide detectives continue to look into the shooting, asking anyone having relevant information about the incident to reach out at Homicide Tip Line at 905-825-4776.
