Gursharan Singh and Inderpal Athwal Arrested for Sexual Assault at a Brampton Homeopathic Clinic

Investigators from the Special Victims Unit have charged two men from Brampton following a historical sexual assault investigation.

Between 2020 and 2021, the two men worked together in a homeopathic clinic located at Orenda Court and Kennedy Road in Brampton. It is alleged that during this time, they sexually assaulted two female patients on multiple occasions.

On Monday, September 23, 2024, 59-year-old Gursharan Singh Sidhu was arrested and charged. He is to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton at a later date, to answer to the following Criminal Code charges:

• Gang Sexual Assault

• Sexual Assault

• Attempt to Commit an Indictable Offence

On Tuesday, October 22, 2024, 56-year-old Inderpal Athwal, the owner of the homeopathic clinic was also arrested. He is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton at a later date, to answer to the following Criminal Code charges:

• Gang Sexual Assault

• Attempt Gang Sexual Assault
