Helpless father’s plea to get son’s body from Canada

Gurpartap Singh’s father, Amrik Singh pleaded people of Canada to help him receive the body of his son. Amrik Singh went live on Parvasi Radio and talked about the tragic death of his son. Singh mentioned that Gurpartap was not talking to them regularly for the past six months. “He would call us once or twice a month,” he mentioned.

Amrik Singh received the information about the death of his son, two days ago. However, it has been claimed that the police found his body almost a month ago.

Amrik Singh is a laborer, residing in Gurdaspur District of Punjab. He mentioned that whenever he would talk to Gurpartap on the phone, he would tell them that there is something bothering him but won’t elaborate it further.

Gurpartap came to Canada five years ago as a student. The parents are not aware of where their son lived in Canada and neither do they have any information or contact of his friends.

A Go Fund Me account has also been created to raise funds for sending Gurpartap’s body back home.
