Montreal police are investigating a vandalism incident at the office of Immigration Minister Marc Miller in the Sud-Ouest borough. The incident, discovered Thursday morning by a passerby, involved smashed windows and pink paint sprayed across the building’s front, according to reports from the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM).

Authorities believe the vandalism occurred Wednesday night and may be linked to recent pro-Palestinian demonstrations in the area. The building on Saint-Jacques Street, near Atwater Avenue, saw protests earlier in the week, with vandals reportedly writing “Marc Miller, child killer” on both the building and sidewalk.
