The new owner, S Satish, who is the president of the Indian Dog Breeders Association, is renowned for his collection of over 150 rare and expensive breeds. Speaking to The Sun, Satish expressed his passion for acquiring distinctive dogs. “I spent ₹50 million (CAD 7.7 million) on this pup because I am fond of dogs and like to own unique ones and introduce them to India,” he said.

Born in the United States, Cadabomb Okami is only eight months old and already weighs over five kilograms. The hybrid canine requires a diet of three kilograms of raw meat daily. According to the American Kennel Club, the wolfdog, being part Shepherd, is known for its strong protective instincts and high intelligence—a breed that “should never be taken lightly.”

Satish acquired the prized pup in February and has been showcasing it at public events, drawing massive crowds. According to The New York Post, he charges anywhere from $3,800 for a 30-minute appearance to $15,900 for a five-hour show.

Satish, who also owns a rare Chow Chow bought last year for $4.4 million, ensures his prized dogs live in luxury. They reside on a seven-acre farm, with each dog having a spacious 20ft by 20ft kennel. “There is enough space for them to walk and run. Six staff members care for them around the clock,” Satish revealed.

Despite their lavish lifestyle, Satish noted that the dogs do not require air conditioning due to Bengaluru’s mild weather. “They are well taken care of,” he added.

The extravagant purchase has made waves in the global canine world, with Cadabomb Okami joining the ranks of the most expensive dogs ever sold.
