Indian-origin Homeopathic Doctor in Brampton Charged for Sexual Assault

A 62-year-old Indian-origin man has been arrested and charged for sexual assault. He appeared in Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton where he was held for a bail hearing. The accused worked as a Homeopathic doctor in Brampton.

Sunil Anand, a 62-year-old Homeopathic doctor from Brampton has been arrested and charged with sexual assault and sexual interference after an investigation by Peel Regional Police Special Victims Unit.

According to the release shared by Peel Regional Police, a “young person” who visited a clinic in Brampton to see a homeopathic doctor was allegedly sexually assaulted during the medical examination. Anand was employed as a Homeopathic doctor in a Brampton clinic at the time of his arrest. He also works at a separate Homeopathic location in the Toronto area.
