Internet Shutdown in Several Districts of Punjab Until Sunday

After launching an operation to arrest Amritpal Singh, the leader of the “Waris Punjab De,” state police said that internet services had been halted in many districts of Punjab until noon on Sunday. However, according to officials, Punjab’s internet services would not resume till Sunday.

At first, mobile internet and SMS services were shut down in Bhatinda, Jalandhar, Moga, and Amritsar in view of the Punjab police’s action on Amritpal Singh.

Amritpal Singh’s aide did Facebook Live and claimed that about 100 Punjab Police officers were following him for arrest. – Punjab police sealed the road and put up barricades and the vehicles were being checked for looking Amritpal Singh near the Dharamkot area of Moga.
