“We have requested Army to send a team to assist us,” stated DSP (Central) Gurmukh Singh, adding that a bomb squad has sealed the area. A probe has been launched into the issue by the police.
Police Officials reportedly asserted to media outlets that the bomb, despite being a live one, was not close enough to the residences of the Punjab and Haryana CM for either of the two to likely be the target.
