Man dies in head-on collision between vehicle and truck on Highway 6
An adult male was pronounced dead on the scene following a head-on collision between a truck and a passenger vehicle on Wednesday, the Ontario Provincial Police said.
The accident happened around 8.20 a.m. on Highway 6 between Freelton and 12 Concession, police said.
In a social media post, OPP Sergeant Kerry Schmidt said the passenger vehicle moved from the northbound lane to the southbound lane for an unknown reason and collided with a delivery truck that was moving in the right direction.

The 57-year-old driver of the vehicle was pronounced deceased on the scene while the truck’s driver sustained minor injuries.
Highway 6 between 11th and 12th concession were closed for several hours, but were later reopened.
