More Arrests in Porsche Theft Case as Two Adults and Two Youths Face Charges
On Friday, September 6, 2024, a Porsche Cayenne was stolen from the driveway of a residence located in Mississauga.
Investigators from the 11 and 22 Division Auto Theft Units have arrested four individuals in relation to the theft and recovery of two luxury SUVs.
On Friday, September 6, 2024, a Porsche Cayenne was stolen from the driveway of a residence located near Winston Churchill Boulevard and Eglinton Avenue in Mississauga. An 18-year-old woman, Sarah Badshaw, turned herself in to police, where she was charged accordingly.
On Wednesday, September 18, 2024, investigators located the stolen Porsche Cayenne, along with a blue BMW X5, believed to have been involved in the original theft of the Porsche Cayenne. Further investigation revealed that the BMW X5 was reported stolen to Toronto Police.
The following two adults and two young persons were arrested and charged.
Rainer Herschel Fernando, a 36-year-old man from Toronto, is charged with the following:

Obstruct Police Officer
He was held pending a bail hearing.
Steven Giselle Lopez, a 21-year-old person from Toronto, is charged with the following:
