CM Mann’s statements come as reports circulate stating that the Punjab CM had reportedly given his nod to the arrest of the Bathinda Rural MLA on Wednesday night prior to his arrest Thursday.

According to media reports, the arrest was sanctioned after a forensic examination of a voice recording submitted by the complainant in the bribery case that supposedly proved that the voice in the recording was of the controversial MLA.

After then-health minister Vijay Singla, Rattan becomes the second AAP MLA to be arrested on corruption-related charges.
