Oakville Homicide: Baljeet ‘Bally’ Toki Identified as Victim, Police Seeking Witnesses and Footage

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has confirmed that the suspicious death of a man found inside a business in Oakville on March 22, 2025, is now being investigated as a homicide.

The victim has been identified as 43-year-old Baljeet ‘Bally’ Toki, a resident of Oakville. His body was discovered inside Montagio Custom Tailoring, located on Lakeshore Road, near Navy Street. Police were called to the scene around 5:30 p.m. after receiving reports of a deceased man.

The HRPS Major Crime Bureau is leading the investigation and is urging anyone with information to come forward. Officers are actively canvassing the area for potential witnesses and surveillance footage.

  • Surveillance footage from the area between Trafalgar Road and Navy Street, north of William Street and south of Randall Street.

Authorities have confirmed that there is no known threat to public safety at this time.

Following the discovery of Toki’s body, police temporarily closed Lakeshore Road East between Navy Street and Thomas Street for the investigation. The closure remained in place until Sunday morning.

No arrests have been made, and police have not released any details regarding potential suspects.
