One man in custody after Oshawa stabbing incident

One man is in police custody after a stabbing incident in the area of Dalhousie crescent and Niagara drive in Oshawa, Durham regional Police said on Tuesday.

The victim suffered serious injuries and was rushed to a trauma centre in Toronto, police said.

No outstanding suspects or threat to public safety is expected, but police forces remain on the site.

One adult male is in custody. Police do not believe there to be any outstanding suspects or threat to public safety at this time.
