Where several have claimed it to be band-aid solution, Mayor Brown claims that a $6 device can help in protecting a $60,000 car from being stolen in less than 60 seconds.
the inexpensive Farday bags can be used to keep your car keys. The bag will block the radio frequency emanates from key FOBs. Mayor Brown is proposing the bags to be distributed to thousands of car owners in five areas of the city.

Patrick Brown said, “Auto theft represents hundreds of millions of dollars of financial loss to Brampton residents and is a major contributing cause of high insurance premiums. It’s time to put the brakes on.”
