Out of concern for their children’s well-being, the Trudeaus have requested that Canadians respect their privacy during this sensitive time. The couple shares three children: Xavier, 15, Ella-Grace, 14, and Hadrien, nine.

To formalize their separation, the Trudeaus have already signed a legal agreement, ensuring that all necessary legal and ethical steps have been taken and will continue to be taken in the future.

Both Justin and Sophie are committed to providing a safe, loving, and collaborative environment for their children. They intend to remain actively present in their kids’ lives, often appearing together as a family and planning vacations together, as demonstrated by their upcoming vacation starting next week.

Despite their decision to part ways, the former couple recently attended the coronation of King Charles III in London together and jointly hosted U.S. President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden during their official visit to Ottawa in March.
