A New resolution has been passed in the Vidhan Sabha on wednesday to change the name of New Halwara Airport in Ludhiana.

According to the new resolution, a request has been made to the Union Aviation Minister to change the name of Halwara Airport to Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha Airport. This resolution was brought by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann in the assembly on Wednesday.
All the MLA’s supported the new resolution and passed it.
