School Bus with Students Inside Crahses in Caledon

Some students in Caledon had a bumpy start to the school day after their bus overturned on a snowy road on Friday (Jan. 27).
According to the OPP, a school bus got stuck and officers from the Caledon detachment were summoned to a section of Centreville Creek Rd. in the Town of Caledon.
The bus appears to have sunk into snow that was piled up in a ditch or on the roadside in a shot of the collision, which shows the bus partially rolled over onto its right side.

When the bus crashed, there were four children on board, but happily, no one was hurt, according to authorities. The kids will be transported to school by a different bus.

After a heavy snowstorm this week, police warned drivers to drive more carefully and to be aware of their shoulders because the snow may be deeper than it appears.
