Second Brampton Teenager Arrested in String of Armed Robberies
Peel Regional Police has arrested a second teenager in connection to a string of robberies in Brampton. The 17-year-old boy has been arrested from Brampton after a 15-year-old was previously brought into custody. The duo, along with another unidentified person, visited four convenience stores on March 16.
In the early morning hours of March 16, two suspects and another unidentified person visited four convenience stores over a span of 24 hours. According to the police, these stores were robbed at gunpoint and the accused made away with currency, jewelry, and other items. No victims were injured during the robberies.
Peel Regional Police then arrested and charged a 15-year-old with robbery, wearing a disguise, and using an imitation firearm. Now, it has been reported that police executed a search warrant in a Brampton home on May 11 and arrested a second teenager, a 17-year-old boy. He has been charged with four counts each of robbery, wearing a disguise with intent, and using an imitation firearm.
