Serious Injuries to Victim of Violent Carjacking in Mississauga

Investigators from the Central Robbery Bureau are currently investigating a violent carjacking that occurred in the City of Mississauga and is asking for the public’s assistance to assist with information.

On July 9, 2023, at 2:10 a.m., the victim, a food delivery driver, was working in the area of Britannia Road and Creditview Road, in the City of Mississauga. Upon arriving at the delivery address, the victim was confronted by unknown suspects who attempted to take his vehicle when a physical altercation occurred. The unknown suspects fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle leaving the victim at the side of the road with life-threatening injuries. The victim was transported to a trauma center where he remains in critical condition.

Investigators are asking anyone who may have been in the area and witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage to contact the Central Robbery Bureau at 905-453-3311, extension 3410.
