Peel Regional Police are investigating a brazen smash-and-grab robbery that took place at a jewelry store in Mississauga on Sunday afternoon. A pick-up truck was driven through the front of Jay Santoshi Jewellers, located at 280 Derry Rd. W., near McLaughlin Road, allowing thieves to gain access and steal an unknown quantity of merchandise.

Authorities received the call just before 2:15 p.m. and immediately dispatched officers to the scene. While the store suffered significant damage, no injuries were reported during the incident.
