Smoke from Alberta Wildfires Reaches Ontario, Hazy Skies Observed in Some Parts of the Province
The situation in Alberta has prompted Premier Danielle Smith to declare a state of emergency
Smoke from nearly 90 wildfires currently burning in Alberta has made its way to Ontario, causing hazy skies in the northeastern, eastern, and southeastern regions of the province. According to Environment and Climate Change Canada, the smoke travelled north from Alberta and reached Ontario on Monday.
