Teens Charged, One at Large in Brampton Electronics Store Robbery with Fake Gun
Authorities arrested an 18-year-old and two 19-year-old suspects at the scene.
Yesterday (May 16), three teenagers are facing charges, while one suspect remains on the run, following an incident where they allegedly held up an electronics store using a fake gun. The Peel Regional Police reported that four suspects arrived at an electronics store near Kennedy Road South and Clarence Street in Brampton, armed with what appeared to be a handgun.
Three of the suspects entered the store and stole an undisclosed amount of property. They then proceeded to a nearby getaway vehicle, where the fourth suspect was waiting. However, within an hour of the robbery, investigators were able to track down the suspects in the area of Jane St. and Finch Ave. in Toronto. During the investigation, law enforcement discovered a replica handgun and approximately $50,000 worth of stolen property.
