Toronto Police Seeking Two Suspects in Scarborough Highrise Shooting That Left One Man with Serious Injuries
A 22-year-old man was shot in his leg in a Scarborough highrise on Wednesday afternoon, February 8. Two suspects are on the loose and Toronto police has asked anyone with information about the incident to come forward. According to reports, there was an interaction between the victim and the two suspects before they shot him.
The incident took place at 263 Pharmacy Avenue shortly after 5 p.m. Officers arrived at the scene and found a man with a gunshot wound on his leg. Duty Insp. Mike Hayles shared that the victim was being assisted by residents before the police arrived. Toronto paramedics rushed the victim to a trauma center where he is currently in life-threatening condition.
The identities of the victim or the accused have not been revealed yet and the police has not shared a description of the two.
