Two Hospitalized After Double Shooting in Vaughan, Suspects on The Loose

A double shooting in Vaughan has sent two people to the hospital and an investigation is underway. The two have reportedly suffered non-life-threatening injuries and at the time of writing, there is no description for the suspect. There was a third victim as well who was physically assaulted.

York Regional Police are investigating a shooting at around 1 a.m. in an industrial lot on Islington Avenue, north of Steeles Avenue in Vaughan. As per the police, two men were in their vehicle when they were shot at. The pair were taken to a trauma centre with non-life-threatening injuries. The victims include a 23-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy

There was a third victim at the scene who was not shot but was physically assaulted.

According to York Regional Police, several suspects are believed to have fled the scene in a white BMW sedan with front-end damage. The exact number of suspects is unknown at this time. Anyone with information or dashcam footage has been requested to contact the police.
