Two Men Arrested Following Seizure of Firearm, Drugs in Mississauga

Two men have been arrested after police found a loaded firearm, illegal drugs, and stolen property following a vehicle search in Mississauga. The unoccupied vehicle was at Enterprise Road and Atlantic Drive. Exact details about the vehicle or the incident are unclear at this point.

Peel Regional Police officers investigated an unoccupied vehicle at Enterprise Road and Atlantic Drive at around 1:30 a.m. In a news release, the police shared that the investigation led to the arrest of two men, Abdullah Sarwari and Mohammad Ghousi. “A loaded Glock 40 caliber 27 Gen 5 was located and seized from one of the men,” the release stated.

Abdullah Sarwari,23, is from Welland and has been charged with 10 offenses which include possession of stolen property, unauthorized possession of a firearm, and possession of a controlled substance. Mohammad Ghousi, 28, from Toronto, was charged with possession of a controlled substance. Ghousi was released on an undertaking and was assigned a court date in the near future.

As of now, it is unclear if the police was tipped about the vehicle, how the two were involved, and what property they stole.
