Vinesh Phogat’s stellar performance continues at the Paris Olympics. On Day 11, she delivered a stunning upset by defeating Japan’s Yui Susaki in the Round of 16, followed by a decisive victory over Ukraine’s Oksana Livach to secure a spot in the semi-finals.

But Phogat wasn’t done yet. She dominated Cuba’s Yusnelys Guzman with a 5-0 win, securing her place in the Final and guaranteeing a medal for India. This achievement makes the 29-year-old the first Indian female wrestler to reach the Final at the Olympics, a historic milestone for the nation.
