Vishaldeep, Jaskaran, and Sukhjinder of Brampton Arrested, Face 292 Charges in Major Credit Card and Drug Bust
In a significant breakthrough, three men from Brampton face a staggering 292 charges after a traffic stop led to the discovery of over 60 stolen credit cards and a substantial amount of illegal drugs.
The incident unfolded on Wednesday around 9:30 p.m. when Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers, conducting routine traffic checks near Peel Centre Drive, Dixie Road, and Queen Street East, pulled over a vehicle driven by one of the suspects.
During the stop, officers seized a trove of illicit items, including more than 60 stolen credit cards, over 20 identity documents, and a variety of drugs believed to be heroin and methamphetamine.
The individuals arrested at the scene have been identified as Vishaldeep Singh, 25, Jaskaran Singh, 25, and Sukhjinder Singh, 24, all residents of Brampton. They are now facing an array of charges, each accused of 61 counts of possession of a credit card, 12 counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, and 22 counts of possession of identity documents, among other serious offenses.
