Woman Arrested In Mississauga After Her Dogs Attacked A 13 Year Old

Investigators from the 12 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have charged a woman after a dog bit a 13-year-old child.

On Sunday, November 12, 2023, at 2:14 p.m., Officers received a call that two large dogs were off-leash and actively attacking a young boy outside a residential building in the area of Rathburn Road East and Central Parkway East in Mississauga.

The boy was transported to a trauma centre and is currently listed in stable condition.

Officers were able to locate the owner of the dogs and subsequently arrested her. A 37-year-old woman from Mississauga is charged with the following offence:

She will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton at a later date.
